Job purpose

• Responsible to perform preformulation and formulation development activities for various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, pellets, liquid orals etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct of preformulation and excipient compatibility studies for various dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, pellets, liquid orals etc.
• Execution of experimental work & documentation (Lab notebooks, log book entries)
• Evaluating the results according to the objective of the experiment and planning further trails.
• Execution of process evaluation, optimization, scale-up and exhibit batches.
• Acquainted knowledge in USFDA, EMEA &ICH Guidelines.
• Preparing batch records, product development reports & stability protocols.
• Conduct literature search for research purposes
• Interact with cross functional teams for execution of projects.
• Effectively co-ordination between teams for cross functional activities.
• Preparation of labels for stability studies and loading the samples on stability
• Any other tasks related to formulation development function assigned by reporting manager and/or department head
• Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
• Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are always training and adhered within the team

Educational Qualification:

M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical

Technical/functional Skills:

• Knowledge of Preformulation and formulation development activities
• Interaction with analytical and other cross functional teams
• GMP and regulatory understanding

Experience:

• 1-3 years post qualification

Behavioral Skills:

• Should have the capability to work in a team and ability to handle demonstrate a good team spirit.
• While possessing a good ability to follow instruction should also demonstrate innovative in his/her approach, good communication skills.
• Should be proactive while working on allotted responsibility.
