Job Purpose: To support projects in Drug Discovery vertical at Syngene
Key Responsibilities:
Drive all five levers of project management to ensure on budget, on time and on quality project delivery.
Work with the Team Leaderand other key stake holders to develop detailed project plans, resources, budget and task management log to achieve project objectives.
Coordinate end-to-end cross-functional project operations and multi-disciplinary activities to ensure that project deliverables are met.
Monitor progress of project activities and deliver frequent updates to relevant stakeholders.
Identify and manage with the Team Leader, all the project related issues. to ensure prompt resolution.
Proactively identify project risks and propose risk mitigation strategies
Maintain project team decision log and risk log with mitigation and contingency actions.
Track project plan w.r.t resource, schedule and budget.
Lead scheduling of team meetings and preparation of project team agendas and minutes
Facilitate cross-functional communications and decision-making, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders
Create and manage dashboards from existing enterprise management database
Develop and ensureproject Governance and Communication Matrix
Identify and ensure all documentation are in compliance with regulatory requirements and appropriately assembled and archived
Manage project budget
Liaise with finance team to ensure appropriate and timely revenue recognition,
Analyze project profitability, revenue, and margins
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team
Educational Qualification:
Masters in Chemistry / Pharmacy with background in Drug Discovery Research
PMP certified or degree in business management
Knowledge of SAP project management modules desired
Technical/functional Skills:
Well versed with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Projects
Good command in English both oral and written and customer service skills
Have knowledge on Discovery project lifecycle
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience:
8-10 years of total experience in biotech/pharma/CRO industry, of which:
3-4 years of experience in core project management.
Behavioral Skills:
Ability to multi-task and independently handle cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience in leading projects and managing client relationships
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability towork with cross functional departments, manage client relationships.
