Job Summary

MARKET MANAGEMENT

  • Devise and evaluate methods for market data collection.
  • Collect and assimilate market data to identify new, mature & niche markets, their respective sizes and growth rates (CAGR)
  • Identify customerdemographics, preferences, needs, pain points and buying habits within each market
  • Interpret and identify trends, risks and opportunities effectively within each market (Porter s 5 forces, SWOT, etc.)
  • Design market surveys to uncover potential customer pain points and preferences
  • Offer guidance to the sales team to help them pursue the necessary steps to generate leads in the targeted sector
  • Besides identifying the right market, also determine what to sell to whom and how to promote them.
  • Monitor and forecast market shifts and sales trends
  • Measure the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives and sales strategies.

STRATEGY MANAGEMENT:

  • Clearly articulate the business value (messaging and positioning) to the service and execution teams, such that everyone understands the intent behind acurrent service, a new service or an enhancement to an existing service.
  • Responsible for analyzing competitive pricing behaviours and driving the overall services pricing and margin strategy.
  • Strategically plan to lay out major areas of investment toprioritize what matters most to achieve the service offer and sales goals.
  • Set company s overall service visionandstrategy.

OFFER MANAGEMENT

  • Theyown the organization sidea management processand determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the growth strategy forward.
  • Every organization wants better ideas for their offers. Offer managers are responsible for crowdsourcing and curatingideas to deliver value to customers..
  • Architect various services solutions. Work closely with engineering on the technical specification and ensure teams have the proper information to deliver the right offer.
  • Designthe services roadmap developthe timeline that defineswhat team will deliver what competency/offer by which timeline?
  • Responsible for managing theservice offer
  • Coordinate all of the activities required tobring new functionalities to market.
  • Prioritizefeatures or new architecting of new solutions by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives. Make difficult trade-off decisionsbased on the value new features will deliver to customers and to the business growth.
  • Define therequirementsfor each feature and the desired user experience.
  • Ensures that the voice of customer is captured and integrated into any new service offers or features
  • Communicates status of new ideas back to customers and fieldsales for progress updates.
