Job Summary Job Description:

Sutherland is seeking an attentive and analytical person to join us as an Implementation Engineer, who will be responsible for performing server builds, upgrades (database and application) and customer service delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Keep management updated: Monitor project activities and relay vital information in the form of timely and accurate reports to all project stakeholders
  • Impact the bottom line: Constantly learn, enhance skills and identify opportunities for process improvement leveraging a deep understanding of assigned work; provide feedback and inputs to SMEs, Leads & Managers on identified areas of improvement, opportunities for automation
  • Define Sutherlands reputation: Deliver high quality upgrades with focus on customer centricity backed by strong technical skills and complete documentation
  • Strengthen relationships: Establish and maintain communication with all stakeholders including Client, their customers, team members and leaders; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
  • Take the lead: Perform Application and Database Upgrades in accordance with the defined processes, maintain high quality of delivery, provide regular updates to the customer, client leadership and project team. Identify opportunities to up-skill and cross-skill; Act as SME on one or more skill areas and provide gap training for team members


Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, education & skills required:

  • Academic: BE / BTECH (CSE, IT), B.Sc. (Computers), BCA / MCA Or Other Bachelor / Masters Degree in Computing / IT preferred
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience
  • MS SQL Server Database Administration (DBA) Upgrades, migrations, backups, clustering, always-on, HA with ability to write/modify SQL scripts and stored procedures (2008 & above)
  • Advanced Windows Administration IIS, services configuration, messaging components (2008 R2 & above)
  • Preferred knowledge areas Citrix and networking
  • Past experience with Allscripts Professional / TouchWorks / Sunrise / Paragon EHR and / or PM in any capacity
  • Analytical Thinking and Troubleshooting
  • Customer Service experience required
  • US Healthcare knowledge / experience required
  • Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner (Language English)
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Owing to nature of the work (upgrade of production environments), the role requires after hours work and / or weekend work, all work will be compensated in the form of time off or pay
    • Must be willing to work in the night shift (US EST time)
    • Service Agreement of 1 year will need to be signed prior to joining
