Senior Mobile Automation Engineer Job in Sun Technologies

Years of Experience: 5+ into Automation Testing

Relevant to Mobile Automation: 2+ years minimum

Shift: 2:00 PM 11 PM

Position summary:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or MCA.
• Five years experience in mobile test automation or app development
• Strong programming experience in JAVA
• Experience with BitBucket and performing code reviews
• Expert knowledge of SQL and no-SQL databases
• Ability to develop mobile automation test scripts on native, hybrid mobile application with iOS and Android platforms
• Strong Analytical skills
• Customer Focus and Relationship Building, including demonstrated ability to work well with business analysts, developers, management and end users
• Have a positive, can do attitude

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge and working experience with APP Center, APPIUM.
• Hands on experience in mobile automation testing on iOS and Android platforms
• Hands on experience in developing test scripts for iOS, Android Native, hybrid and web applications
• Work with team members to define/enhance processes and strategies associated with Mobile Automation.
• Hands on experience with API test automation using REST assured and POSTMAN.
• Hands on experience in developing and running mobile test scripts on cloud platforms especially on Sauce labs.
• Work with other teams to gather and collect test data in a collaboratively within diversified environments
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail at all times; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.

Additional Qualities:

• Quality assurance experience, including documenting defects, building test plans, and performing exploratory testing
• Experience with other programming languages such as Python and Ruby
• Experience with integrating automation tests into CI / CD pipelines
• Package managers like Homebrew, NPM, debuggers, http proxies and packet capture
