Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and create ETL solutions using Informatica Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, database structures, and ETL processes to adapt to changes in needs and requirements Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation using Informatica tools. Design and implement data quality checks and error handling mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure data integration processes run smoothly and meet performance standards. Extract, transform and load data from various sources including databases, APIs, and flat files Create and maintain data mapping documents, technical design documents, and test cases for ETL pipeline solutions Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of data integration solutions to ensure accuracy and quality Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues by analyzing logs, debugging code, and working with cross-functional teams Develop and maintain automated data integration processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Informatica and data integration best practices Work with DBAs and data architects to optimize data models and schema designs for ETL processes. Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and transformations. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration. Participate in code reviews and ensure all solutions are lined to architectural and requirement specifications and provide feedback on code quality, design, and performance Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field At least 3 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles Experience working with various data sources including databases, APIs, and flat files Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and database design Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL Proficient in working with data storages like ADLS, Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, No-SQL (e.g. Cosmos DB, Mongo DB) Proficient in using Azure data integration services (Azure Data Factory, Databricks) Experience with data profiling and cleansing tools such as Informatica Data Quality Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of Data Quality principles and experience in implementing those Excellent communication and collaboration skills
