Job Description:

1. Senior Microsoft SQL Server Administrator with minimum 5 years of experience.

2. This individual will be supporting Multiple SQL Servers supporting multiple applications.

3. This person will be responsible for configuration, performance management, backup and recovery for all systems.

4. This person will also collaborate with cross functional members to develop solutions that support our 24x7x365 BI ETL architecture, Azure environment and web services.

Job Requirements Details:

Job /Skills Requirement:

1. 5+ years Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database management of 2016 or later2. 5+ years Experience with Windows server management of 2008 or later3. 3+ years Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL managed instance4. Experience with MSSIS5. Experience applying service pack updates to Microsoft SQL Server6. Experience with columnar datastores a plus7. Experience with SQL server performance tuning and optimization.8. should be familiar with principles and best practices in developing and maintaining responsive, secure, and accessible servers.9. Continuous health checks to make sure the environment is up and stable, jobs completed successfully, and all services are online10. Creating and Troubleshooting Stored Procedures, Data Structures, Triggers and Jobs11. Responding to user tickets in a timely manner12. Performing periodic audits of security and configuration on all environments13. Communicating with customers and management14. Deciphering business needs into technical needs15. After hours and weekend work on call as needed
