Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyzing and understanding the source data
- Understanding the requirements for the target system
- Work with the reporting/analytics team to understand their reporting needs
- Understanding the OLAP process
- Creating Source to Target mapping documents
- Creating ETL routines to transform and load the data as per the specifications provided
- Writing unit-test cases as per the ETL logic
- Writing SQL scripts to execute the unit-test cases and validate the data
- Creating process flows to integrate the different ETL routines as per the modules
- Follow defined standards to improve the performance of the ETL routines
- Develop strategies for resolving issues and preventing future occurrences
- Work closely with architects, team members and management to add delivery capacity for existing and upcoming projects, enable knowledge sharing, and lend depth in key areas of data warehousing, data integration and BI solutions
