Role Description The role of the Senior Data Engineer/Profiler will be to work with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze and map from numerous data elements from disparate sources of data. Need to collaborate with Data Ware House team and identify the ways to blend data from diverse source. We will drive impactful and creative insights that will improve business decision-making. We will create the processes to deliver high quality, reconciled data. Responsibilities Design and build technical data transformation processes Understand data needs and objectives, organize raw data from multiple large & complex datasets, perform transformations and automations of data flow to convert the data into usable format to load them into data warehouse Work closely with Data mapper, Data Tester, Data warehouse team and Business Users for implementing data migrations on existing data warehouse schema and future enhancements Ensure smooth processing of data into Data Warehouse and if the end results are met as per Business needs Provide data modeling, mining, pattern analysis, anomaly detection and data visualization to address Business needs with tools/technologies such as Alteryx, SQL Server, Tableau, Salesforce, Salespage and Advanced Excel Effectively communicate technical analyses and results to non-technical partners through a variety of mediums, including Tableau dashboards, reports and presentations Lead and be responsible for a cross-functional project team building solutions that use data to drive growth and revenue Act as leader with vision for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions, business strategy and product management activities Demonstrable analytical skills with an emphasis on data modeling and BI reporting Ability to dream big, create, and have fun doing it Qualifications Candidates with BI and Data Transformation experience preferred over Database Administrators and Backend developers Certification in Alteryx or similar tools to deliver repeatable data solutions mandatory Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with Databases (AWS Redshift or SQL Server) and ETL Tools, certification preferred Experience working with BI tools Tableau, Power BI, Qlik etc. is preferred but not mandatory Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering) with 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Transformations Demonstrable analytical skills with an emphasis on data modeling and BI reporting Previous experience with ETFs/equities/mutual funds is desirable, but not necessary Ability to take ownership and initiative, to negotiate, influence and build consensus and successfully navigate within a data driven environment of a leading global financial institution Persuasive and articulate in presenting complex ideas, simply
