Civil 3d Designer - Water Job in Stantec

Description Primary Purpose of Job: Contribute to the ongoing growth of STANTEC ResourceNet India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in the various sectors, as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design, outline design, detailed design and construction support for buildings, water/ wastewater treatment projects across the STANTEC offices (UK, US, Middle East, Asia Pacific etc.). To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects. Stantec is looking for Senior Civil Designer with expertise in Civil design and detailing using Civil software based in the Pune, India office. Key Accountabilities Preparation of Basic Plan / site layouts 2D and using Civil 3D Pipe network. Civil 3D Modelling Pipelines (Pressure /Gravity), Alignments and longitudinal Profiles/Cross sections. Grading. Familiar with creating Styles, operating Civil Surface and creating reports. To understand design, drafting systems, standards and design development process followed by clients and implement in work. Review the input received from client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent. Coordination with other disciplines designers and engineers as applicable. Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management, Need to work off-hours for client co-ordination: Occasionally Qualifications Diploma in Civil Engineering Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience in Civil industry and minimum experience in Civil 3D is at least 4 years Experience in Civil Computer Aided Design on Water Industry projects 3D Modelling and design experience using Civil applications such as Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment Should be good team player Good oral and written communication skills Data / document management system experience Knowledge of wet infrastructure and networks Ability to work alone and use his/her initiative
