Job Summary Summary

We are looking for PHP Developers who will write effective, scalable code that drives web applications. In this role, PHP Developers tend to work with server-side and backend components of web applications, ensuring that the application works across browsers and devices and successfully integrates with third-party web services. They also test and troubleshoot web application elements to make sure the system remains usable and accessible once it is launched.

PHP developers tend to work within teams that also include frontend developers, ensuring that system architecture supports user-facing applications. In this role, PHP developers are responsible for both the PHP modules that drive applications and for ensuring that other code elements, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are valid and consistent.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar field
Experience of PHP web frameworks including Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
Must have previous experience working on API development for 6 months
Should have a very good understanding of SQL queries and database design
Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
Ability to manage a project in a timely manner
Good problem-solving skills

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
