Data Warehouse Architect Job in Spaatech Solutions

Location: Kolkata (India)

Job Description:

• At least 7 years of Data Warehouse ETL design, development and maintenance with successful implementation of large Enterprise BI solutions
• 5 years of experience with RDBMS platforms (ie. Oracle, Teradata, DB2, MS SQL Server), SQL, ETL tools (Talend, Informatica PC, Business Objects Data Integrator, SSIS and others), big data architecture and related technologies (ie Spark)
• Developing solution architecture using business stakeholders requirement and transforming into conceptual data models, including socializing and implementing logical and physical DW/data mart data models; identifying data sources and metadata (including business rules, definitions, attributes, etc.) to deliver analytic requirements
• At least two full lifecycle implementations, BI/SQL, DW/SQL/ETL/Modeling tools and other related technologies involving:
• BI and enterprise DW data management, modeling, integration and/or synchronization, quality, security, conversion and analysis, star schema and relational reporting models, enterprise data management policies, procedures, compliance and risk management and/or database administration,
• Design and development of data models, extraction code and cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions, i.e. standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching that leverages data standards, processes and technology management for data, master data, and metadata; and, data security (including data masking and related data protection techniques)
• Experienced with java, python and OOPS concept
• Hands on experience working on Windows and Linux environments and UNIX scripting
• Identifiable leadership skills on generating a vision, establishing direction and motivating developers and other team members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation
• Must be self-starter and able to demonstrate experience working in an agile environment to deliver robust & well tested solutions
• Strong interest in learning new technologies
• Able to stay on mission some nights/weekends during Team Sprints and production support
• Demonstrated experience in various phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• DBA or database development experience (a plus)
