Job Summary Basic Job Responsibilities:
Devops Engineer at SourceFuse fills the mission-critical role of ensuring that our complex, large-scale systems are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale.

Education:
Graduate or Post Graduate in Computers / Electronics.
Certification: Red Hat, AWS

KRA:
  • Overall responsibility is to contribute as a team member to DevOps practices to build and maintain our infrastructure and automate service deployments. The DevOps Engineer will implement tools and strategies for deployment, testing and monitoring to achieve our goal of security compliance and agreed uptime and quick turnaround of new code deployments.
  • Ensure that the infrastructure for ease of deployment, scalability, security and fault tolerance is maintained well. Work closely with
  • System Architects, Engineers, Product Managers and System Administrators to meet their service automation needs.
  • You should have a strong Amazon Web Services experience and hands on with most common tools for CI/CD/Monitoring/Alerting and configuration management.
  • You'll work collaboratively with software engineering team to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our develop, test and production environments.

Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps role.
  • Working experience on Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, ActiveMQ environments.
  • Build and release automation tools: Jenkins/Hudson, Codebuild, Codepipeline. Experience with Java Deployment.
  • Setting up Kubernetes on AWS. Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Hands on experience in serverless technologies and microservices.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required).
  • A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby).
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
