Role Overview
As an IMS/VoLTE Engineer, you will:
  • Manage and troubleshoot Ribbon SBCs in an IMS/VoLTE environment.
  • Execute SIP-P testing and use tools like Wireshark, IXIA, and Spirent to ensure high-quality IP voice and video services.
  • Work with SIP, Diameter, and interconnect protocols for reliable and secure 4G/5G communication networks.
  • Collaborate across teams and stay updated with IMS/VoLTE/5G trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ribbon SBC Configuration: Setup, manage, troubleshoot SBCs in production/test environments.
  • IMS Core: Operate and debug IMS network elements.
  • VoLTE/5G: Participate in deployment and optimization.
  • Protocol Testing: Run and analyze SIP-P test cases.
  • Tool Usage: Apply Wireshark, IXIA, Spirent, etc., to debug and validate services.
  • Interconnect Protocols: Ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configs, issues, and test results.
  • Optimization: Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 3 5 years in telecom engineering with focus on IMS/VoLTE/SBC.
  • Expertise in:
    • Ribbon SBCs (hands-on)
    • SIP Protocol (message flow, diagnostics)
    • Diameter Protocol (AAA in 4G/5G)
    • SIP-P and test automation tools
  • Tools: Wireshark, IXIA, Spirent (others a plus)
  • Cloud IMS: Familiarity with cloud-based IMS deployments
  • Network Security: Understanding of security principles in IP-based communication
  • Scripting: Python, Perl (for automation and diagnostics)
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication
  • Education: Bachelor s in EE, CS, or related; Master s preferred
  • Certifications: IMS/VoLTE/SBC certifications are a bonus

Interview Process
  • 2 Technical Rounds

Qualification :
Bachelors in EE, CS, or related; Masters preferred
Experience Required :

Minimum 3 Years
