Job Description & Responsibilities: We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Responsibilities: 1. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers 2. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules 3. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges 4. Integration of data storage solutions;- MySQL, and JSON. 5. Working on AWS deployments and the cloud. Skills and Qualifications: 1. Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks; CodeIgnitor, YII, Symfony, CakePHP and Laravel. 2. Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP 3. Understanding of MVC design patterns. 4. PHP5 - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP5 developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.3.X and 5.4.X. 5. Establishing and guiding the website s architecture. 6. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 7. Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming 8. Understanding accessibility and security compliance 9. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions 10. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application 11. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments 12. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system 13. Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds 14. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes 15. Familiarity with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages 16. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 17. Knowledge of how to interact with REST APIs and formats (JSON, XML) 18. Should be strong in JSON, Curl, JQuery, Ajax and Google API. 19. Knowledge in AngularJS/ReactJS is an added advantage
