The Role

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Designing and building high quality, responsive, scalable, and performant applications using HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Angular and other front-end frameworks.
  • Working on projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, solutioning and designing architecture, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems
  • Reviewing Front End system Design and architecture, code, and test plans of high quality scalable systems
• Providing mentorship to young Front End Engineers
• Designing and building reusable components and contribution to Soroco design system
  • Working on strategic projects in collaboration with senior members of the Tech team

The ideal SSE is passionate about working with and mentoring high-tech front-end development teams, has a solid design aesthetic and a desire to create great user experiences.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

• 4-6 years experience in Front End Development projects built from scratch
• 1-2 years of experience mentoring junior members of the Front-End team
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and valid, semantic markup
• Experience in JS frameworks (Angular, React, etc), willingness/ ability to learn new frameworks if required
• Experience in working on large enterprise products
