RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with development teams and product manager to ideate product and software solutions
-Design client-side and server-side architecture
-Build and deploy cloud based & cloud native applications
-Participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas and improvements.
-Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
-Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
-Develop, test, and deploy web applications using Ruby on Rails, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
-Write effective APIs Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
-Create security and data protection settings Develop features and applications with a mobile responsive design



REQUIREMENTS

-Experience developing web applications
-Experience and exposure working with cloud platforms - AWS Cloud services and cloud first mindset
-Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Exposure to GraphQL would be an added advantage.
-Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
-Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, micro frontend or Angular is a must.
-Proficiency in Ruby programming language and the Ruby on Rails framework.
-Server/Backend Application development experience with Node.js
-Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
-Ability to write clear technical documentation.
-Good communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends.
-Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is advantageous.
