Location : Mohali | Remote | Hybrid

Position Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) acts as the projects leader, driving projects forward to a successful project delivery. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects from Requirement to Deployment.

The PM must be effective in juggling multiple fast-paced client implementations/integrations of various sizes and at the same time establish a trusted partner relationship with clients.

Project Managers will deliver projects using agile methodologies and client/inhouse governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget with detailed project planning to track progress

Lead, monitor, and motivate different teams across the company and interact with staff at all levels in the organization

Handling multiple projects, strong in estimation, designing Sprint Plans, & Overall ownership to project.

Strong in handling Change Management process - to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

Perform Risk management to minimize project risks. Report and escalate to management as needed.

Reporting and Documentation - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

Provide process improvement recommendations that are based on best practices and industry standards.

Excellent team management and customer management skills

Handle Client Communication effectively. Sharing project progress, risks , change requirements with client and other stake holders on timely manner.

Key Skills

Extensive experience of Agile Methodologies and Processes like Scrum Meetings, Burndown and Velocity Charts.

Well versed with Project Management tools like JIRA/Trello.

Must have experience on Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

Strong experience of product development lifecycle.

Strong experience in Project Management

Experience in executing projects in MEAN/MERN would be a plus

Should have started on the career on technical work before moving onto project management roles.

Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

Must have extensive experience of requirement analysis, task allocation, task progress tracking, process documentation, status meetings with stakeholders.

Should be familiar with project management and execution tools

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with client independently and lead & mentor teams.

Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Relevant Technologies

Technology stack MEAN/MERN, Ruby on Rails, Restful APIs/Microservices based development, MySQL, MongoDB

Exposure to automation/build tools like Maven, Jenkins, CI, Deployments like AWS/Azure/GCP.

Education:

4-year degree in a technical or business field of study preferred

PMP certification a plus

Certified scrum master(CSM) highly desired
