Technical Project Manager Job in Softobiz Technologies (p) Ltd

Primary Purpose:

This primary purpose of the role is to provide technical leadership and guidance to an application delivery team that is developing and supporting a variety of projects and enterprise business applications. To be successful in this position, one must have in-depth understanding of particular client technologies, development frameworks, and delivery procedures.

The Technical Project Manager contributes to the definition and documentation of the architecture, the collection and documentation of the non-functional (architectural) requirements, the development of cost and time estimates, and the formulation of the technical solutions themselves.

Working knowledge of the Agile methodology and a solid grounding in modern software development life cycle (SDLC) frameworks are necessities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact to develop account, escalating client concerns as/when identified Able to identify new opportunities for further work.
• Produce project plan, schedule, and coordination of all project aspects including budget controls.
• Evaluate time, cost, and quality of output by the team; including stakeholder satisfaction of output throughout the life of the project.
• Drive daily project management activities including regular project status updates and project team meetings.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meets project goals and vision.
• Identify blockers, risks, issues and escalate any that require further assistance for removal.
• Identify and implement innovative processes to reduce manual intervention and improve productivity based on technology and domain expertise.

Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant experience; 3+ Years relevant experience in Technical Project Management, Managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in supervising and managing the development teams throughout the whole project development lifecycle, experience with team leadership and motivation is required.
• Expert in communicating with team members, clients, and external vendors.
• An exceptional problem-solvers, able to rapidly shift course depending on revised customer specifications or system constraints.
• Solid experience working in complex and innovative R&D development environments.
• Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture.

Skills:

• Demonstrable robust Architecture, design, development, and collaboration skills gained in developing software product solutions.
• Creativity, motivation, and strong communication.
• Hands-on experience with developing and implementing integrations.
• Practical time management skills for handling multiple projects and goals.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills; and
• Strong documentation skills.

Technical Skills:

• Development background from any tech stack such as .NET/Java/Node
• Project Management Methodologies
• Project Management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps

Bonus Technical Skills:

• Some knowledge or experience in AWS/Azure Cloud ecosystem
• Experience with Microservices architecture
