Sr. Software Developer (php+aws) Job in Softobiz Technologies (p) Ltd

Primary Purpose

The Senior Software Engineer role ensures continuous innovation, development, and production support of our enterprise high traffic and highly scalable live streaming application.This role will work as an integral part of the creative and motivated team to ensure high-quality benchmarks are met for deliveries of innovative products for local and international markets.

With this highly challenging and responsible role, you will get an opportunity to work on a highly scalable, distributed, and modern microservices-based architecture designed for High traffic live streaming application. Hands-on experience or knowledge of modern application architecture will be required for this role.

A detailed understanding of modern SDLC frameworks is required, as is the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience;
• Solid experience working in complex and innovative R&D development environments;
• Experience with real-time streaming and high-traffic, highly scalable solutions is required.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture;
• Solid experience with multiple programming languages, including PHP, MySQL, Angular, WEBRTC, and socket.io
• Experience with AWS Stack (Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline.

Required Technical Skills

• LAMP stack;
• PHP frameworks Laravel, Zend, Symfony, WordPress;
• Solid OOP skill in PHP, with S.O.L.I.D principle in mind.
• HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Angular 2+
• WEBRTC, Socket.io, Real-time streaming
• AWS Stack (Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway etc.)
• Experience with writing unit tests.
• Comfortable with GIT version control system;
• Normalised SQL database design, strong experience in MySQL
• Knowledge of building and consuming REST API
• Comfortable with cloud computing service (AWS preferred)

Add On Technical Skills

• Understanding of microservices/event-driven architecture experience.
• Domain-driven design exposure will be a big plus.
• Some knowledge or experience in Kubernetes is a bonus.
