Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Statutory Compliances (To maintain updated tracker for all the important documents related to ISO, Factory Licenses, Contractors, etc.)
Handling Labors & its Grievances
Attendance Management / Time Keeping and Leave Management.
Good rapport with Local Government Bodies (like Police Station, RTO & other Authorities such as Medical Hospitals, Local Tehsildars, Electricity Board)
Expert support during all Audits and Inspections
Induction & Joining Formalities of new recruits off rolls and on roll employees.
To support Corporate HR with Recruitments, PMS, Salary Adminstration and HR Policy Communication.
To manage approx 300 off roll employee strength at factory / plant.
Manage and monitor labour contractors, liase with local political party reps/mathadi/labor inspectors, and other industry related officials.
Maintain Contract Labour Agreements and ensure its adherence all Statutory compliances from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

Should have good knowledge of the minimum wages of Umbergaon for various categories (skilled, Unskilled & Semi Skilled).
To design and implement multi-tasking roles for labor in alignment with the Labor Laws.
Should know about Apprenticeship Act and its implementation on ground-should have handled such hiring in past.
Should know and must have worked with Quality Circles at plant level.
Should have the relevant knowledge, personality and experience in handling tricky/manipulative labor contractors.
