Product Quality

• Provide thought leadership in driving world-class standards in automation, testing and release management practices
• Drive the Quality and automation roadmap and implementation of standards, methods, metrics, and procedures ensuring and evaluating the Quality and automation of our software products.
• Drive & own Quality plans by-product with NO-GO authority on releases based on Quality criteria
• Establish a Quality measurement system that is data driven via automated dashboards or similar
• Lead and instill a sense of urgency for product and process improvement to meet and exceed customer requirements.

• Build reusable Automation code and libraries that ensure best possible usability, performance, Quality, and responsiveness
• Transform Engineering practices to achieve the strategic goal of new code deployed in Production multiple times a week via Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines

• Foster culture of test engineers having deep understanding of product design, deployment, and architecture in their approach to test.
• Incentivize Shift Left Adoption, Re-use of Automation utility across performance, component, End User coverage
• Hiring outstanding engineers and retaining top talent. Provide technical leadership and mentoring for QE engineers in the team. A supportive collaborator who can offer and hear constructive feedback
  

• Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, and other stakeholders in prioritizing the right set of Quality initiatives to meet business goals
• Collaborate with peer engineering leaders and architects in Quality strategy development and execution

• Minimum 14+ years of Software Engineering, 4+ years in Technical leadership/Management
• Strong experience in Quality assurance of an enterprise-class SaaS Backend product. At least 3 years in driving automation strategies and design/implementation of such frameworks.
• Proven track record in handling complex releases over multiple release cycles and managing change across releases and stakeholder management
• Expertise in Java will be required.
• Demonstrated experience in building and running global Dev/QE teams
• Experience on SCRUM methodology and operation in an AGILE development environment
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps (build, Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment tools) and best practices.
