Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Act as the point of contact for resolving ProofPoint Email Security operational tickets Providing whitelisting/blacklisting support for domains / Email ids Performing phishing Email Analysis Troubleshooting issues related to non-delivery of emails

Ensure the Email security gateways are configured and updated with heightened Cyber Security features and rules. Providing design & configuration support for deployment & transition of Proofpoint Email Security solution.

Create and maintains Standard Operating Procedures and other similar documentation Responding to Email Security alerts monitoring (end to end management) based on the alerts being generated by Proofpoint Email Monitoring system.

Performing upgrades to the Proofpoint email security solutions Ensuring tickets are resolved as per the defined SLAs Collaborating with the vendor for timely resolution of platform related tickets.

Assists with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating control for email security issues.

Design & architect the cloud security compliance for Infrastructure hosted on cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , GCP , IBM Cloud.

Assist the data encryption teams in setting up the encryption support for applications & databases hosted on cloud.

Establishing Cloud Service Security Hardening and baseline process

Qualifications

BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems or Equivalent

Skills and Knowledge

• 4 to 6 Years of experience with of Email Security solutions IronPort, Symantec Messaging Gateway , Preferably Proofpoint .
• Strong level of understanding of Internet protocols (SMTP, HTTP, DNS, FTP, LDAP, SSH, TLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Cloud security infrastructure & IT System Administration experience.
• Experience with email MTA, SPAM filters, Postfix or Sendmail like products is desirable.
• Experience on administering of Azure, AWS , GCP, Active Directory, GPO, IIS, DNS
• Experience in deploying and managing database encryption solutions.
• Well-rounded understanding of the information security domains and their inter-relations (network security, application security, incident response, etc.)
• Good understanding of various cryptographic methods and their usage
• Experience with various operating systems such as Windows Server, Unix, and Linux
• Experience with database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL
• Scripting experience with Python preferred
• Operational Architecture knowledge of Qualys, McAfee ePO, FireEye & SCCM, ServiceNow.
• Ability to work with confidential information and protect the Network Security design and architecture.
• Experience in dealing with customers in multiple geographical locations.

Working hours

• Should be able to work in 24 * 5 rotational shift timing
