Skill:Software Engineer Manager Exp: 6+yrs Location: Remote/Chennai Job Description: Software - Engineering Manager A highly skilled, hands-on manager with the ability to develop and grow a new team Responsible for the product engineering roadmap, focusing on performance, scalability, and quality for a growing business with millions of dollars in turnover Able to own and drive technical discussions, while exerting a strategic tech influence An effective communicator, able to collaborate cross-functionally with Business teams, Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to plan, own, and deliver solutions on time Proficient in Agile methodologies/principles and utilizing best practices for team deliverables, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Collaborative with senior engineering management in defining and championing development best practices Adaptable in a fluid and fast-paced environment Accountable for hiring and skills management within the team What you ll need: Combined experience of at least 10 years as a developer and a manager Experience working with teams spread across different time-zones (Europe, North America) Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up. Some experience with Python, FastAPI, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Vue or React Experience managing teams and delivering high-quality projects on time Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences Deep understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setup Experience with new open source technologies and their adoption into product development etc
