Sr. Sharepoint Developers Job in Silicus Technologies, Inc

Candidate Profile:

Must have 6+ years of overall experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.

At least 4+ years of experience should be in SharePoint technologies.

Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, knowledge on SharePoint 2010, strong understanding of SharePoint Portals and Content Management Solutions.

Experience in developing SharePoint solutions involving custom web parts, custom aspx code, customizing SharePoint listviews using SharePoint designer.

Experience in branding features of SharePoint.

Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and tools including Agile (XP and Scrum), Rapid Application Development, etc.

Technical knowledge of .NET technologies using C#, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web Services, Windows Forms, ADO.NET, LINQ, Visual Studio.NET.

Experience in developing and delivering solutions utilizing Service Oriented Architecture.

Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Principles (OOPs) and strong SQL Server experience.

Experience in XML, XSL, AJAX, CSS and Java Script.

Experience in SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Microsoft Silverlight is a plus.

Experience in System and Data Migration is a plus.

Must have excellent communication, problem-solving and team skills.

Technical Skills:

Develop, implement and maintain mission-critical software applications and databases.

Within the overall project delivery, plan and lead various new application development and enhancement projects.

Work with the Project Manager and Account Manager, help develop project plans, identify development and project risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.

Work with application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and with good quality.

Work closely with end user community and IT to resolve production system issues.

Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identify impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware and networks.

Oversee quality assurance of applications through system testing; establish processes for and conduct code review.

Work with the pre-sales team to estimate effort required for new project.

Develop and maintain demo environment as needed to demonstrate various capabilities and integrations as they relate to SharePoint.

Work on developing web-parts to be used on customer projects or internal showcase demos.

Keep up-to-date with latest technologies, trends and provide advice to management as required.
