Location: Hyderabad (Head Office)

This person will be responsible for the administration and pre-issuance verification of the proposals and policies

Key accountabilities ( A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned )

• Manage a wing-to-wing fraud mitigation profile from pre-customer-acquisition to post-contract issuance loss reduction for life insurance products.
• A sampling of historical data including claims and other data and current data as per set parameters.
• Conduct pre-issuance application stage investigations, post-issuance investigations.
• Conducting investigations on suspected agents/salespersons to ascertain facts.
• Customer segmentation based on historical data and open market information (Expertise from retail banking, NBFC and Life Insurance Domain)
• Set up manual for risk investigations and fraud management.
• Cascade important information to underwriting, claims and field operations with fraud trends etc.
• Advise/Recommend actions as per prescribed Malpractice matrix relevant to their severity.
• Innovate new techniques to avoid fraud.
• Feed and Maintain master MIS pertaining to the above activities.
• Publish periodic trend analysis and feedback to the senior manager management.
• Involve and Audit participation both internal and external.
• Be able to contribute to the Risk strategy and its implementation & monitoring at regular intervals.
• To contribute in the training of relevant staff and any other internal stakeholder if required.

Desired Profile

Any Graduate & preferably a licentiate of III, with at least 6-8 years of work experience in a risk profile and Investigations, Fraud, Compliance or Risk.

Pursing any other life insurance qualifications, risk certifications would be preferential.

Key functional competency: Knowledge of Risk and basic life insurance essential.
