Job Summary

Role

We are looking for a very hands on, action-oriented self-starter with a high energy Financial Controller, to join our team in a fast-paced environment of a tech company in growth mode!


Job Responsibilities:

(i) Financial Accounting & reporting
  • Perform month end/year end close activities and analysis including consolidation and tax & statutory reporting, ensuring the overall accuracy, timeliness, completeness and compliance of the financial information.
  • Hands-on experience with daily financial accounting operations (not limited to monthly closing, handling bank payments and transaction etc).
  • Responsible for sound internal control and standard financial/operating procedure.
  • Analysing, planning and managing costs to support implementation of organizational strategies.
  • Providing support to the Finance head and leadership team on a wide variety of activities (including but not limited to investor reporting, supporting fund raising activities).
  • Evaluate and lead accounting system migration while drive procedural improvement by leveraging technology.

(ii) Taxation Strategy, Planning & Compliance
  • Responsible for managing the Transfer Pricing compliance, audit processes, regulatory affairs and tax compliance for the Group.

(iii) Leadership
  • Manage and oversee the overall responsibilities of the accounting department (accounting, tax, treasury, controllership functions).
  • Continuously improve and optimize our financial workflows to increase efficiency and automation.
  • Passionately raise the overall calibre of the team and ensure sustainability of human capital.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Qualified CA/CPA, with at least 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years as a regional controller for SEA. Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully building, leading and motivating a team to work together to meet deadlines and key deliverables.
  • Strategic, Articulate, Go-getter, Entrepreneurial Mindset with strong executive presence.
  • Strong people management skills with all levels.
  • Expert in ERP, accounting applications and in excel.
  • A strong sense of personal accountability.
