Designing & Engineering Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities and Duties
• Use custom software tools to design Solar PV ground mounted and roof top systems.
• Perform accurate system sizing calculations Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD), Sketch Up and PVSysts software
• Involvement in Solar Power Plant design, Auto CAD drawing preparation, PVSyst, Helioscope, PV Sol and Google sketch up report making analysis.
• Develop optimal designs with SLD, conduit and wire scheduling, routing and equipment plans, and conceptual 3-D renderings.
• Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements
• Building detailed bills of materials based on system specifications
• Coordinates with management team to develop complete proposal packages
• Work across functionally with sales, project management and installation teams to ensure clients needs and internal deadlines are met
• Troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field.
• Experience in providing technical support energy-related projects with accountability for project performance and design
• Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system design and optimizing system components for energy production.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and structural design components and manufacturers.
• Experience in value engineering of photovoltaic or other constructions projects.
• Good working knowledge of standard utility process for interconnection approval and design requirements.
• Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
• Working knowledge of energy modeling, PV specific modeling, standard electrical calculations, basic structural & mechanical calculation.

Qualifications:

1. B.Tech / M.Tech Full Time is preferred in Electrical Engineering. A Masters with emphasis in renewable energy will be strongly preferred.

2. 1-3 years of experience in system engineering of Solar Power plant .

3. Should be able to design full solar power plant.

4. Should have the ability to effectively communicate (Written, Oral).

5. Should posses knowledge of software like Helioscope, PvSyst, AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up.

6. Should posses good knowledge of Technical Specifications and cost of Material used in Solar PV System.

7. Fluency in both English and Hindi is the must.

8. Must have shown/exhibited proficiency in designing of Solar PV Products also.
