Scope: Manages the development and implementation process of Companys products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints.Responsibilities:Completes deadline-driven, team based projects. Responsible for overall project objectives, goals and technical requirements Establishes budget and delivery schedule, based on project requirements in consultation of stakeholders and project team members Determines resource needs and coordinates technical resources for assigned projects Provides technical leadership as appropriate for projects; directs activities of project staff. Organizes and prioritizes projects in light of department, division and corporate goals. Works directly on technical aspects of projects as needs dictate and time permits in order to achieve assigned goals. Coordinates and communicates activities between team members and stakeholders to keep project on schedule. Escalates prioritization and resource problems as necessary. Minimum Requirements
Defines packaging, coordinates software and packaging test cycles, maintains product release schedules, facilitates communication between Marketing/RandD/ Sales, defines ordering processes with worldwide Contracts departments. Works with Development Project Managers to coordinate work schedules and responsibilities Engages appropriate parties to resolve technical and communication issues and validating and updating product codes, lists and other data sources critical to Release Engineering. Documents product information, such as its schedule and current status in release engineering process, on the web and ensuring that this information is kept up-to-date and that is easily accessible to interested parties within SAS.
