Description Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with diverse data-driven projects. Daily responsibilities for this role include: -Must demonstrate a very good understanding of both the front-end and back end development. -Develop and maintain multiple internal and external websites and web applications. -Building and updating websites using various PHP Frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter. -Building and updating websites using various CMS and Ecommerce platforms like WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart, etc. -Building and updating websites using Bootstrap with JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML & CSS.. -Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications. -Working with multiple departments frequently to implement features into existing web applications. -Using high-level debugging skills to find, log, and solve issues in user-facing web applications. -Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality -Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle -Follow industry best practices -Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary Skills -Proven software development experience in PHP -Understanding of open source projects like WordPress, Magento, OpenCart, etc -Demonstrable knowledge with min. 2 years experience of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX etc -At least 2 years of working experience with back-end development using the LAMP stack. -At least 2 years of working experience using PHP and its frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter. At least 2 years of working experience in WordPress and Magento. -Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services -Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc) -Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas -Proficient in building web applications using web services / REST API. -Development best practices, including extending existing functionality, creating custom modules. -Knowledge in SSH & FTP is a plus. -Knowledge in WHM & cPanel. -Candidate should have a good understanding of MySQL, relational database schemas, indexes and other query optimization techniques. -Should have good knowledge of jQuery, XML and JSON. -Experience in extension/plugin development and customization is a plus. -Knowledge in repositories and version control systems like Git & Github is a plus. -Experience in these GraphQL API, React and Vue is a plus. -Experience in MERN Stack is a plus.
