1. Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs 2. Should be well versed with AUTO CAD programs & commands 3. Basic knowledge of MEP Systems 4. Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and requirements in materials 5. Draftsmen with knowledge of Duct Sizing & Routing, Cable Tray Sizing & Routing, Pipe Sizing, Lighting design, etc are preferred. 6. Describe production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used) 7. Worked on MEP Coordination layouts, RCP Plans 8. Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software 9. Prepare & Maintain a database of CAD blocks & general layouts 10. Design diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate the workflow 11. Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team 12. Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality 13. Work on CAD drawings for MEP Systems & Schematics as per instruction from Project lead MEP Designer 14. Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards 15. Create manuals that describe existing products operation, features and maintenance
