Sr Associate Systems Engineer Job in Sas

What you ll do:

• We re looking for an early career professional in our Global Customer Intelligence Practice, a Software-As-A-Service solution which allows our clients to profitably engage their customers, regardless of channel, with confidence. You will get familiar with our integration possibilities and have the opportunity to design and build prototype integrations into third-party technology vendors/solutions which helps broadening the SAS technology ecosystem to add value to the overall SAS proposition. If you are a keen technologist with developer skills and interested in being part of the exciting MarTech and AdTech landscape, this opportunity is one that should not pass you by. This role is focussed equally on (1) developing new demo content for CI as well as new integration assets to extend the capabilities of the SAS Customer Intelligence solution, (2) supporting Customer engagements (3) and enabling regional teams in understanding our integration framework and using developed reusable extensions.
• As a member of our Global Customer Intelligence Practice, you will be part of the Architecture, Security and Integration team that works collaboratively across Divisions and vertical markets. This Practice plays a critical role in translating customer feedback and industry requirements into exciting product enhancements and new offerings that enable SAS to expedite the digital transformation efforts of our customers.

You will:

• Become a technical expert in the SAS Customer Intelligence 360 portfolio and supporting SAS technologies and solutions
• Understand the broader MarTech and Ad-Tech landscape including ecosystem technologies that help improve the SAS proposition
• Gather demand from regional teams and customers about their integration and architecture needs
• Build out prototype integrations between SAS and 3rd parties under direction from Senior Team Members
• Work with Professional Services Teams and R&D to translate these integrations into customer deliverables and future supported product

What we re looking for:

• You are an early career professional with a can-do / hands-on and transformational mentality.

• You have a strong technology foundation across Java, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Python, Unix/Linux, Web Services, Docker, AWS, Kafka, Mobile app development and you are open for new technologies
• You have the ability to explain a complex technical case to a non-technical person, without confusing them.
• You are a team-player with a pragmatic and collaborative approach and have basic professional working experience preferably in a technology team
• English may not be your first language, but you are comfortable having all your meetings in English, and your clients and colleagues are comfortable too!
• You enjoy travelling and can devote 25-50% of your working life away from home

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
