Senior Devops Engineer Job in Sapiens International Corporation

Role:

As part of the Sapiens Digital R&D group, you will work within a small and elite team, a startup like group within Sapiens, you will own the architecture and design and implementation of a new digital product. Having overall responsibility for building the core capabilities of the new product while participate in hands on coding 80% of your time.In addition, as a DevOps engineer you lead the deployment architecture and CI/CD automation and will mentor other development team members with DevOps best practices.

r. DevOps Engineer Responsibilities :

Hands on experience in DevOps technologies with a Software development background
Expert level application deployment experience utilizing modern DevOps technologies ( Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet etc.)
Expertise with source controls like SVN,Git
Experience in managing build infrastructure, CICD pipelines with Jenkins to streamline the deployment of applications to Kubernetes
Experience in container architecture, Docker universal packaging, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and Microservices architecture pattern
Proficient with Azure components and Azure DevOps
Foundation with Azure/AWS cloud infra (S3/Storage Class/Vnet or VPC/Container Registry/Azure/AWS Managed Services)
Strong understanding of application development methodologies, web application security, and secure coding practices
Experience with Scripting (shell, python) on Linux
Foundations in programming, algorithms, and Software application design
Good to have programming experience with Python/ Java
Good to have experience designing and building applications using REST API
Agile SDLC experience is preferred, writing stories and delivering features with CI/CD, Scrum

Sr. DevOps Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent
excellent teamworking and communication skills

hands-on experience with databases including MySQL, Mongo & Elasticsearch
strong problem-solving skills
good attention to detail
excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
