PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Intelligent Enterprise Business Solutions - Travel & Expense Management team is responsible for the technical set-up of SAPs internal end-to-end Travel & Expense process and related technical solutions based on SAP Concur Travel & Expense (T&E). This includes configuration, enhancements and migrations within the Cloud tenant as well as for all integrated interfaces from/to SAP internal backend systems, also considering other system integration. The seamless Employee End-User Experience and the enablement of our business, driving the value with end-to-end scenarios is key for our success

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Travel & Expense IT Integration Architect lead will create, optimize, enhance and maintain the custom-build software development for SAPs internal Travel & Expense Business process. You will be working in an agile working environment with an experienced international Scrum team with functional & technical consultants.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Design technical solution approaches according to the business requirements and develop applications on-premise and in the cloud using various programming languages like SAP ABAP and UI5.
• Debug and troubleshoot productive T&E end-user issues as needed in alignment with SAP IT T&E Operations and Business Support Travel Interaction Center.
• Comprehend and optimize the technical/application architecture of Integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud) and Concur T&E solution.
• Create IT Security Concepts and align with related IT Security / Data Protection and Privacy Office (DPPO).
• Contribute to Standard product requirement identification and collaboration with SAP Concur Development.
• Create and deliver technical documentation.
• Increase test automation for existing processes and test cases with established SAP internal testing tools (e.g. Worksoft, Tricentis).
• Explore applicability of emerging topics like Machine Learning, AI, iRPA, Mixed Reality, etc. for SAP T&E process and implement beneficial solutions.
  ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Technical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience with 2+ years working in an agile team preferably scrum
• 6+ years experience as T&E Integration Architect and developer in a customer-facing role (internal or external).
• Experience with Concur T&E solution as well as strong technical skills in Concur T&E integration and related ancillary modules.
• Excellent understanding of software building and deployment processes.
• Very good understanding of SAPs Cloud business, Cloud to on-premise integration, SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud infrastructure and Cloud operation processes.
• Experience in working with international and virtual teams with focus on implementation, operation and infrastructure topics, ideally in a DevOps approach.
• Strong knowledge of programming concepts such as procedural, object-oriented programming, testing methodologies.
• Programming skills in SAP ABAP, HTML, Java Script, UI5 and Odata.
• Experience with Financial applications and knowledge of accounting processes and Knowledge of SAP internal T&E process is a plus.
