SAP Cloud Platform is an Open, Industry Standard Platform-as-a-Service offering from SAP. Built on Cloud Foundry and K8S, it is a platform of choice to extend, integrate and build innovative cloud native applications at SAP

SAP Cloud Platform Core unit provides the multi-cloud foundation for SAP Cloud Platform and a layer of abstraction for all applications to run on both public clouds [AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud] and private cloud. Technical Services around data management, platform services, enterprise messaging etc. forms the key portfolio of the unit

THE ROLE
As a developer at the SAP Cloud Platform Core Unit you will be working on one of the following components:
Data Management Services provides multi-cloud managed hyperscale backing services like Object Store, Database & Caching as a Service. We provide a K8S native backing services
Enterprise Messaging & Business Eventing Service - provides multi-cloud managed SAP Cloud Platform Enterprise messaging & eventing service based on Solace. The service provides, 1] a business event bus, 2] a K8S based message broker, and 3] a KNative based serverless environment to register triggers for events

Technology Stack:
Languages Java, NodeJS, Go, Python, Shell
Databases S3, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
Messaging & Eventing Solace based event and message broker
Container Docker, K8S. OS - Linux
IaaS AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud, Private Cloud

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development & delivery skills
Sound understanding of cloud native architecture & development
Masters or Bachelors Computer Science degree in Engineering or Tech from a premiere institute with excellent academic records
6-9 years of relevant experience in software development
