HEAD OF TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT / SOFTWARE LOGISTICS FOR NESTLE TSM

ABOUT THE TEAM
Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area and consists of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and Cloud Application Services (CAS). As private cloud managed services provider, HEC Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers and by joining forces with CAS, we enter a new era of end-to-end service experience for our customers.

Nestl has setup a transformation program called Journey to Cloud (J2C). A cornerstone of this transformation is to consume the entire SAP landscape as SaaS provided by SAP. In order to provide the right level of service, it has been decided to build a new team within ECS. The ECS Nestl Client Delivery Management will provide an E2E service by combining HEC and CAS portfolio and will work dedicated for Nestl, operating the entire Nestl SAP landscape with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest HANA-based systems (e.g. 2x24TB ERP scale-out). The Nestl CDM team will work on building the services according to Nestl needs, it will bring those services into daily operations as well as work on continuous improvement and automation of those services.

THE ROLE

Within the CDM organization we set up the Technical Service Management (TSM) team that handle all operational aspects. Were looking for an expert in Software Logistics to oversee and coordinate all transport management tasks for all Nestle Landscapes operated by ECS.

• Setup a Transport Management service according to the agreed SLAs
• Analyse and align the requirements, followed by implementation and operation
• Ensure quality of services with adherence to the SLA and being cost efficient
• Define and set up respective service reporting
• Define and continuously optimize respective tool and automation requirements
• Setup and head a team of transport engineers

ROLE REQUIREMENT

• Bachelors degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics or comparable.
• Excellent knowledge of ABAP, JAVA and HANA content transport management
• Excellent knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform content transport management (MTA, HANA) and the integration in enhanced CTS+.
• Excellent knowledge of TMS, SolMan and ChaRM solution
• ABAP programming knowledge to help optimize queues for largest ERP environment(s) during monthly dress rehearsal
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate and escalate Issues
• Ability to work under pressure and constantly add value to customer and within organization, combined with a strong customer focus
• Experience to work effectively in international, cross-cultural and virtual teams and get work done smoothly from multiple in ECS
• Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Proven team lead skills are required
• Project management experience and flexibility are a must.

Work Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Transport Management for large customer landscapes
• 2+ years of experience in leading/managing teams
