Role Overview: User Assistant Developer - Cloud Foundation CNF

As a User Assistant Developer within the Cloud Foundation CNF team, you will contribute to creating user assistance deliverables that help customers deploy, administer, and use SAP software efficiently. Your work will include creating UI texts, guides, multimedia, tutorials, and other content to enhance the user experience. You will work closely with colleagues globally, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of your deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Create User Assistance Deliverables: Develop content such as terminology, UI texts, guides, multimedia (graphics and videos), scripts, in-app help, tutorials, API references, and social media content to assist users in deploying and using SAP software.
• Usability Contributions: Test and review UI screens and texts to improve usability.
• Content Structuring & Distribution: Organize content and select appropriate distribution channels based on the needs of your target audience.
• Collaborate for Improvement: Work with customers and internal stakeholders to enhance the quality and relevance of your deliverables.
• Content Preparation: Ensure content is prepared for delivery, including metadata provisioning and following the standard production process.
• Terminology Management: Define and maintain terminology and glossary in your domain for documentation and UI texts.
• Innovative Initiatives: Contribute to initiatives that aim to revolutionize user assistance at SAP, including utilizing Generative AI technology and focusing on automation.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong background in creating product documentation (preferably in DITA).
• Social Media Content Creation: Experience in creating social media content such as blogs, tweets, or YouTube videos.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, with a proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts and present them clearly and concisely.
• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of Cloud technologies and familiarity with SAP-specific technologies such as BTP, CAP, CDS, Fiori, UI5 (a plus).
• Adaptability: Willingness to quickly acquire knowledge in new areas and adapt to change.
• Quality Assurance: Ability to proofread and edit content for linguistic correctness, readability, usability, and correct terminology.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
