The CX Integration team in Bangalore will provide you with very good opportunities to work on cloud software development and integration capabilities of SAP CX products. The team is part of the CX CTO Office and defines and provides integrations between SAP CX products like Commerce Cloud, Customer Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and the digital core of S/4HANA to deliver on SAP s integration promise of the Intelligent Enterprise

THE ROLE

You ll work on challenging development projects in an ambitious and highly efficient team. Several technologies and system environments are part of your work, and collaboration with other groups is crucial. We apply agile methodologies and you will make sure that we execute efficiently along these principles and meet high quality standards with our developments. The role combines tasks as Development Engineer for one of our development teams. In this role you will

• Design, code and test product features by following agile development practices.
• Work closely with architects within architect community in SAP CX Integration.
• Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles.
• Support DevOps related tasks including delivery, operations and support of the cloud services.
• Drive improvements and innovations in development
• Apply latest cutting-edge cloud technologies.
• Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• 4-7 years of experience in product development
• Knowhow of cloud and open source, object-oriented concepts
• Basic ABAP programming, OO ABAP, BADI implementation, knowledge about T-codes.
• Knowledge about RFC and RFC connections, ALE Configurations and communication arrangements
• Knowledge about FM (function modules) and BAPI
• Basic programing knowledge in any object-oriented language like Java.
• Understanding of micro services, Kubernetes, Docker virtualization techniques
• Knowledge of version control framework like git and Github.
• Bring up best practices in the areas of DevOps, CI/CD by adopting to latest tools and technologies.
• Maintain and manage Jenkins build and servers.
• Configure/implement build and deployment status reports/displays like Jenkins, Grafana, Solr, Kibana, Prometheus.
• Collaborate with other developers by participating in code reviews and pairing up when necessary
• Resolve platform level concerns, such as configuration management, network request routing, code deployment etc.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (Cloud Platform) Integration will be an advantage.
• CRM, ERP and S/4 HANA knowledge would be added advantage.
• Experience or knowhow of SAP Commerce will be an added advantage.
• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in computer science or related field.
• Understanding of SAP Development process is a plus
• Ability to work on multiple parallel releases
• Ability to working in a distributed team
• Ability to work in a scrum-based agile mode
