What You ll Do: As a Senior Software Engineer at SAP, your role will involve building services that enable development teams to automate the early phases of the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and delivering new features as part of an Agile team. Developing in Python, Golang, and similar programming languages. Deploying using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes pipelines. Mentoring junior developers and leading scrum teams by setting positive examples. Owning cloud services end to end, implementing distributed systems using Hyperscaler services, and adhering to best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development. Value You Deliver: Design, Development & Delivery: Develop software features as part of Agile teams and collaborate on solutions to improve the software development lifecycle. Automation Solutions: Engineer bespoke automation solutions for DevOps and operational teams, helping them specialize in their focus areas. Cloud Services Ownership: Be responsible for end-to-end cloud services, including distributed systems using Hyperscaler services (AWS, Azure, GCP). Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers and lead teams by setting a positive example in delivering quality software solutions. What You Bring: Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.). Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in NodeJS, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript with understanding of OOPS. Scripting language proficiency in Python or Shell scripting. Experience with REST APIs. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and any hyperscaler (AWS / Azure / GCP). Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis. Experience working on Linux platforms. Qualification :
