Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Create comprehensive project plans by determining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget requirements.
- Assign tasks to project team members and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
2. Team Coordination and Leadership:
- Supervise and guide project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination among team members.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.
- Encourage a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and efficiency.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Identify and address stakeholder needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing accurate project status updates and addressing any issues or queries.
4. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all project activities conform to established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
- Monitor project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to avoid potential setbacks.
- Conduct quality control audits to verify project deliverables meet the required specifications.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from past projects to continuously improve project management processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficient in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure.
