We are now recruiting for a Central Service Specialist-Engine
Job Purpose
Central Service Specialist leads & provides technical knowledge, advice and support to both internal and external customers on Engine. This position is based at Udaipur and will report to Manager-Technical Services, Parts & Service Division.
Responsibilities
- Complies with Sandvik safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements
- Identifies and reports any unsafe work habits
- Strives to find safer ways for customers to work with Sandvik s products
- Liaison with engine manufacture & dealer to resolve warranty, technical and other commercial issue within stipulate time frame.
- Enhance of Engine and engine related components life.
- Correct fault diagnosis and failure analysis and take suitable action to prevent it further.
- Control CPH cost
- Reduction & control of unplanned engine consumption
- Yearly planning and stocking of engines for CPH and AMC machines
- Resolve the engine issues/challenges (Parts & Technical) with respective OEM s
- Weekly review of RCA, SOP, Backlog compliances, SOS and engine logs
- Site audit
- Competency development for engine specialists and operation teams to develop successor s while in the role
- Conduct trainings for engines, Arrange for OEM trainings
- Work with central planner for strategic parts stocking
- Provide strategic parts for new models
- Warranty Handler for all products (Engines, Drills, Loader & Trucks)
- Develop customer relationships to ensure customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik brand
Your profile
- You should have Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline with minimum 10 years of hands on and leadership experience of handling service of Engine
- Prior team leading experience is a must
- Capability of independently engine overhauling expertise is must
- More on focus of engine maintenance with associated components.
- Advance product knowledge on Engine.is must
- Handling advance engine diagnosis tools.
- Preference would be given for Volvo Penta Tier 4 and Tie 5 engine work experiences.
- Good people management capability and ability to train people.
- Should have been actively involved in the service operations in a complex service set-up and multi-cultural environment.
