Job Summary
Qualification : M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical chemistry, from a reputed university
Summary of Job
- Responsible for leading a team of 5 to 10 analysts and provide timely analytical support for delivering projects involving complex chemistry.
- Manage analytical support for development projects, involving analytical method familiarisation, development, transfer as well as specifications and standard test procedures required for scale up.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe working of the team in a laboratory environment.
- To be aware of the project scope and finer aspects of scope as well as scope changes.
- Periodically review the progress of the project to ensure that the teams operate within project scope to deliver the scientific and delivery milestones with expected high QUOTIF.
- To review the data presented by team and technically guide them further/suggest course correction, wherever required.
- To collaborate and resolve issues with CFTs.
- Ensure that appropriate and meaningful data are generated during the development phase.
- Responsible for timely completion and review of method development / analytical technical reports and weekly updates.
- To be responsible for productivity, timely closure of investigation reports, calibration of equipment and maintenance of infrastructure of their lab / project.
- To personally participate in critical walk-throughs and in all investigation closures.
- Works on the quotes of new inquiries.
- To participate and contribute in technical brainstorming, Training and Development.
- Conducts performance appraisals for his team members and to give recommendations to manager.
Technical & Functional:
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience with various standard analytical techniques like UV-VIS, FTIR, GC, GCHS, GCMS, HPLC, LCMS.
- Experience with niche analytical techniques like NMR, XRPD, Prep-LC, SFC, DSC, TGA will be an added advantage.
Qualification : M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical chemistry, from a reputed university
