Job Summary Primary skills: Proficient in testing concepts Intermediate MS SQL experience. Should have strong hand-on on ETL concepts Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) data warehousing environment. Proven track record of working in multiple ETL projects comprising Schema check, data completeness validation, validating business rules, count and duplicate checks, Archival checks, data replication and masking, data transformation and validation. Good understanding of Performance & API testing is required Review architecture and technical specifications for conflicts or issues that could affect quality. Perform acceptance testing and manage user testing when needed. Write test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts Create strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components Detailed data analysis on data warehousing systems Execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data related projects Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Should have sound knowledge of designing test scenarios and test cases Should be able to perform estimations as per the standard estimation techniques Should be sound in integration testing, regression testing Should have good knowledge of defect life cycle Must have experience working with multiple client stake holders and represent QA team in various meetings Thought Leadership: Take ownership of your product/features - keep a keen eye out for bugs that might arise, ardently resolve them Serve as a thought leader & decision maker on technical, design & related issues Should love to solve challenges, pickup new languages, framework or technologies on the go. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ownership & Accountability: Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision. Continuously keep assessing usability & relevance of product features. Come up with suggestions for improvements. Engineering Mindset: Strong analytical, troubleshooting/problem solving, and time management skills. Participate in product aligned research by tweaking/rewriting libraries Should love to build and ship products that enterprises will use every day. Work with problems of scale, employ technologies that are distributed in nature. Ability to design for performance, scalability, and availability Experience in building web applications and full product life-cycles.
