Lead Engineer-Quality Engineering

Responsibilities:-

• Leads a project team of Automation test engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality automation framework and test case automation for the product.
• Understand the architecture, requirements, related customer scenarios and design test automation strategy and test automation plan for the product set
• Participate in the technical and management reviews and ensure expectations w.r.t automation requirements are addressed at the expected level.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software automation framework design, progress, and issue resolution.
• Mentor and influence the team to comply with the best practices for automation development ,quality standards and expectations demonstrating effective gatekeeping for all the deliverables.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically7+ years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge & practical experience in software test automation
• Experience and knowledge in end to end testing of system software applications on Windows and Linux platforms
• Hands on Programming expertise in Java
• Automation : Exposure to scripting languages - Python, Perl, Shell
• Familiar with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub, TestRail and Slack
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
