Skill Sets:

Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture. Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics. Database- SQL knowledge is desirable.

Good hand on manual testing, Creating test cases and knowledge of automation tools. Responsibilities and Duties: Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

Review and analyze product specifications and perform software testing. Identify, record, document the test process thoroughly and track bugs. Determine quality assurance parameters.

Track quality assurance metrics Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Report bugs and errors to development teams Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
