Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to assist in the planning, execution, and management of IT projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in sprint and task planning, task creation, and the ability to build project dashboards that track key metrics. A strong understanding of project workflows, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with development teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sprint & Task Planning : Collaborate with project managers and development teams to plan and coordinate sprints, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined and prioritized.
Task Creation & Assignment : Break down high-level project objectives into actionable tasks. Assign tasks to team members and track progress.
Dashboard Creation : Develop and maintain project dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), task completion rates, and sprint velocity. Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
Daily Task Status Communication : Conduct daily check-ins with the team to gather task statuses and ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks. Communicate progress, roadblocks, and updates to the project manager and stakeholders.
Project Tracking : Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and assist in resolving issues to keep the project on track.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain project documentation, track project timelines, and ensure that project deliverables meet deadlines. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders as required.
Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a point of contact between project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Communicate project updates, progress, risks, and issues clearly and effectively.
Risk Management : Identify risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of project objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and QA, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2-4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the IT industry.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including sprint and backlog management.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA , Trello , or similar platforms.
Ability to create and interpret dashboards using tools like Excel , Power BI , or other project tracking software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with software development processes and project lifecycles.
Basic understanding of software development tools like Git , Jenkins , or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience working with remote or cross-cultural teams .
