The Role: Software Developer II (Python & AWS)

The Location: Hyderabad

Grade: 9A

The team works in agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious and hard-working software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the architecture, design and quick turnaround of development of our products with high quality.

The Impact:

This position directly interacts with the business team to understand their requirements and the added value to the business customers. The role provides exposure to the business and functional model of the company. The applications being worked on are highly business centric and revenue generating. This position is extremely important to deliver what our customer needs and have faster time to market.

Responsibilities:

• An ideal candidate will be a key player in the growth and development of this brand new platform.
• They will a play a role in the planning, development and deployment of the product following the full SDLC.
• They should be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies.
• The candidate must follow best practices for software development and has experience building reusable and maintainable application code for future projects.
• Development experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Google Cloud is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in a global software engineering team while working closely with product management, quality assurance and business analysts.

What we are looking for.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
• 4 to 6 years hands on experience developing with Python and frameworks such as Flask and Django
• Must have experience in analyzing requirements and developing overall concept and design objectives.
• Must have experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs
• Experience working with SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or equivalent
• Experience working with Kafka & Docker
• Exposure to Apache Spark is a plus
• Exposure for programming languages like Java, .Net is a plus
• Proven experience working with an Agile framework mindset
• Desire to work with a highly collaborative team located onshore and offshore
• Strong interpersonal and written communications skills
