You will:

As part of this, you will be working with Outseer Fraud Manager R&D team. You will bring in in-depth software quality assurance expertise and good automation skills to join the team and help with the enhancement of the current automation coverage for the product. Few key responsibilities include:

• Understand business requirements and convert into technical/automation requirements
• Involve in design and programming of automation test cases by understanding the product functionality
• Build automated regression and sanity pipeline across various supported platforms of the product
• Discover and troubleshoot complex product issues, file bugs and work with team to take it to closure
• Leads or participates in the software development quality lifecycle which includes coming up with testing strategy, plan of action, working with stakeholders on timelines and driving it to completion
• Clearly communicate project issues and status well within time
• Work closely with team members within and across teams. Execute great team spirit

Essential Requirements

• Hands on experience and expertise with automation frameworks and languages (Selenium)
• Exposure to advanced programming skills in scripting languages like Perl, Python and Shell Script
• Must be able to design and write test automation scripts
• Eagerness and ability to understand product behavior and translating them into automated test execution cycles
• Solid knowledge in relational database and application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic and JBoss
• Ability to identify and do initial root cause analysis of an issue, file defect and work in a coordinated manner with development team till issue is fixed, verified, and closed
• Complete sense of ownership of assigned work items. Must ensure quality and timely delivery
• Good knowledge in Windows and Linux environment
• Effective communicator with exposure to working with cross-functional teams and multiples geographical units
• Independent learning skills & troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent team player the ability to work, think and collaborate
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, 6+ years of relevant technical experience

Desirable Requirements

• Work experience with finance products
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Good understanding of Enterprise product development life cycle
