Job Description Our Client, A Software Company Is Seeking An Experienced Product Manager / Senior Business Analyst. We Provide Software And Services For Energy Suppliers, Brokers And Metering Agents So Deep Industry Knowledge In Power And Gas Supply Business Is Key. Main Role Is For The Senior Analyst To Keep Abreast With Industry Changes, Go Through Documents Provided By The Industry, Conduct Research And Analysis In Order To Come Up With Solutions With Detailed Functional Specifications. Work Location: Ahmedabad / Chandigarh Helping to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. Once the problem is clearly understood, outline detailed requirements for a solution and ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements Liaise between the IT team and the business to agree on user requirement scope and delivery Managing the business analyst team and take measures to maximize the efficacy of the analytical team Gathering, validating and documenting business and functional requirements Analysing and understanding data, documents, data flows provided by the industry players Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts Creating functional specifications for solutions Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team Develop UAT test cases for every requirement to test Implementing and testing of solutions to ensure they meet the requirements Supporting business transition and helping to establish change Liaise between the IT team and the business to agree on user requirement scope and delivery. Create system documentation in the form of use cases, change requests, release notes, and help manuals. Job Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of working experience in analysis, data mining or research analysis Masters / PhD in Math, Physics OR Engineering degree Ideal candidate to have deep industry knowledge in Power and Gas supply business Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good communication skills and proficiency in English Knowledge of IT process and development life cycle
