Role Expectations :
We are looking for an experienced Database champions to join our team! As a Database person you will be responsible for designing, testing, planning, implementing, protecting, operating, managing and maintaining databases for our products and client solutions.

We expect the database person to be proficient with various databases and should have hands-on experience in working with large databases - in terms of tables and data both. We also expect the database person to be highly proficient with PL/SQL, should understand database architecture and should be aware of NOSQL Databases.

Duties And Responsibilities :
- Design and model databases

- Set and maintain database standards.

- Ensure best practices in terms of database configurations - performance, security and high throughput

- Develop processes for optimizing database security.

- Migrate large data from legacy systems to new models using modern approach without service disruptions and data loss

- Performance tuning of database systems.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.

- Part of Design Group to recommend and implement emerging database technologies.

- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.

- Mentor team to guide them towards technology (database) excellence and deep knowledge

Work Experience :

- The position requires at least 5 years of experience as a database Administrator with any professional organization

- Hands-on experience with designing, setting up and establishing database standards

- Hands-on and proficient with PL/SQL with complex joins

- Experience with Data Migration of a database with size of atleast 50 GB

- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL

- Experience with setting up / working with database on any cloud platform - AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

Qualifications

BE, B.Tech. Or MCA/MS (Computer Science / IT) from reputed institute
